Ellenroad Steaming

Steam is a powerful element to produce energy and move hugh objects like steam engines. To gain expertise and to completly understand how steam engines function, our sales team visited the famous Ellenroad Museum in Rochdale, UK.

The Ellenroad mill was a cotton spinning mill which was bulit in 1890. It is now used as an museum and is still steamed on occasions for demonstrations. Our sales team was very impressed of the size, the power of steam and how smooth the engine and the big wheel was running. No vibration was noticeable, this was demonstrated through set up coins next to the hugh moving wheel.
